Police Seek Missing Perth Amboy Man

PERTH AMBOY – The police department is searching for a missing 27-year-old Perth Amboy man who was last seen Friday, May 25.

Marcos Ramirez-Castillo, a former resident of Red Bank who now lives on Brighton Avenue, was reported missing by his sister on Tuesday, May 29, when he failed to return home after Memorial Day weekend.

According to police, Irene Ramirez said that her brother is an alcoholic, but he returns home every night and would never leave without telling her. She also told police that he is unemployed and does not have much money.

Ramirez-Castillo was last seen wearing a grey shirt, black pants, white sneakers and a blue New York Yankees cap.

Police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Detective Sandra Rivera at 1-732-324-3856 or the Perth Amboy Police Department at 1-732-442-4400.
