NEW BRUNSWICK – Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital’s Community Health Promotions Program will be among the community organizations participating in the 5th Annual “Working Toward a Healthy New Brunswick” Health Fair on Saturday, June 2 at Pine Street Recreation Park in New Brunswick (at the corner of Georges Road and Pine Street).
The fair, which is sponsored by the Civic League of Greater New Brunswick and Georges Road Gateway Program, takes places from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public. This year’s fair features free health screenings, face painting, fruit and vegetable sales, raffles, prizes, free food and many other fun activities.
In addition, the New Brunswick Police and New Brunswick Fire Departments will compete in their annual fitness challenge beginning at 11:30 a.m. Come and find out who will be this year’s fitness champion.
