CLARK — Arthur L. Johnson High School Valedictorian Loretta Vill and Salutatorian David Roglieri were honored this past week at the Union County Superintendents’ Association Annual Recognition Breakfast for Outstanding Scholars at L’ Affaire Restaurant. Top academic achievers from each public school district in Union County were honored at this breakfast.

Valedictorian Loretta Vill will be studying economics at Dartmouth University this coming September, while Salutatorian David Roglieri will be majoring in engineering at Northeastern University. Both students have highly distinguished high school careers as top academic performers, participants in varsity sports, and leadership in various school activities.

Prior to being honored at the Union County Recognition Breakfast for Outstanding Scholars, both students were honored during the Clark Board of Education’s Showcase of Success last month for their academic achievements.

Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Knops remarked, “Both Loretta and David are wonderful ambassadors representing their families, Arthur L. Johnson High School, and the Clark School District. They are high achieving students, respected leaders, wonderful people, and outstanding role models. While we will certainly miss them in District, I know we will continue to hear wonderful updates on their progress at the collegiate level.”
