PERTH AMBOY – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a robbery that took place at the Mobile Gas station at Smith Street and Convery Boulevard early Sunday morning.
At 5:43 a.m., a masked suspect struck the attendant with a tire iron numerous times, causing a head injury, police said. The suspect ran east towards Dorsey Street.
Police are asking anyone with any information about the robbery to call Detective Sandra Rivera at 1-732-324-3856.
