Perth Amboy Girl Wins Conservation Poster Contest Award

TRENTON — Victoria Tang of Perth Amboy was honored at the 2012 Conservation Education Awards Ceremony in Trenton on May 17 for taking second place in the Grades 7-9 category in this year’s Conservation Poster Contest.

New Jersey Secretary of Agriculture Douglas Fisher, State Conservationist with USDA’s Natural Resource Conservation Service Don Pettit, NJ Association of Conservation Districts President Charles Buscaglia, and Sal Mangiafico of Rutgers Cooperative Extension presented the awards. This year’s poster theme was “Soil to Spoon.”
