Cranford Hosts Greater Union County Heart Walk

CRANFORD — Help fight heart disease and stroke, the No. 1 and No. 4 killers of Americans, at the American Heart Association Greater Union County Heart Walk.

The annual Heart Walk awareness fundraiser – now in its 20th year – will be held for the greater Union County community on Saturday, June 2, at Nomahegan Park in Cranford. Registration opens at 8 a.m., followed by an official program at 9:30 a.m. and ceremonial ribbon cutting for heart disease and stroke survivors at 10 a.m.

The morning offers a variety of cardiovascular education opportunities for families, as well as fun activities for children. Donations encouraged. Participation is free.
