CLARK — Jenna Stafford’s second grade class at Valley Road School in Clark received a grant from the Clark Education Fund enabling the purchase of terrariums. The students have been studying living organisms in science. Obtaining terrariums for the classroom has allowed the second graders to explore different environments that plants live in, and learn about the needs of plants.

Parents of the students in Stafford’s class were given the opportunity to visit the classroom and explore the terrariums with their children. The parents worked with the students to put together each of the ten terrariums. The students took pride in completing their terrariums and exploring those of their classmates.
