CLARK — Jackie Grigoli’s third grade class at Valley Road School in Clark have begun a unit on poetry. Students learned about the many poetic devices authors use to make their poetry express their feelings. These poetic devices include: similes, metaphors, hyperbole, alliteration, repetition, imagery, and personification to name a few.
