UNION COUNTY — Alter The Ending, an alternative rock band with members from Berkeley Heights and Summit, is returning for the second consecutive year to play at the Bamboozle Festival on Saturday, May 19 at 4:15 p.m. The three-day music and pop culture event will be staged on the beach at Asbury Park May 18, 19, and 20. The festival features artists such as Bon Jovi, The Foo Fighters, Skrillex, Mac Miller, Incubus, The Gaslight Anthem, My Chemical Romance, and many more.
Alter The Ending competed in the Break Contest along with hundreds of bands at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, and other locations throughout the tri-state area, and ultimately won a slot to play at the festival.
The band consists of high school students Andrew Pacheco, Vocals/lead guitar, Billy Manning, guitar, Luke Blecker , drums–all from Berkeley Heights—and Dylan Quesada, bass from Summit. Their first EP “Gone Again” was released in early 2011 and they’re planning on a follow-up later this year.
