St. Mary of the Assumption High School Inducts 25 Students into The National Honor Society

ELIZABETH — St. Mary of the Assumption High School has inducted 25 students into the National Honor Society. Proud parents, family and friends of the students attended the induction ceremony, which was held on May 15 in the high school gymnasium.

Members of the National Honor Society pledge to maintain high scholastic standards, to lead others courageously and to serve the community. St. Mary’s celebrates the personal qualities and academic achievements of the following individual students:

Class of 2012: Romario Achille, Matthew Borrello, Amanda DiGiorgio, Richonda Fegins, Carla Gomes, Juan Gonzalez, Brian Guallpa, Tyler Hughes, Mercedes Igus, Michelle Luis, David Moncayo, Anthony Rivera, Kafilatu Tiamiyu, Mark Usigan and Elmi Ventura.

Underclassmen: Shirley Abbelard, Anna Fojtik, Andy Hilaire, Sharissa Petit-Frere, Barbara Singh, Jairo Vasco, Chloe De La Cruz, Emilie Fernandez, George Habeib and Jamie Okoli.

St. Mary of the Assumption High School is supported solely by tuition and fundraisers.
