Powerball Jackpot Reaches $90 Million

TRENTON – Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is worth $90 million, or $57.4 if the winner chooses the single cash payment option.

While no one matched all five numbers plus the red Power Ball in Saturday’s drawing, a West Orange retailer sold a ticket that won the third prize of $10,000. In addition, 20,187 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $113,072 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, May 12 drawing were: 10, 24, 35, 53, and 58 and the Red Power Ball number was 22.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510, and the odds of claiming any prize are 1 in 31.85.

Powerball drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
