EDISON — Gale Goldman, Upper School art teacher at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School, presented ribbons to Haley Needle of Scotch Plains and Ashley Martin of Edison at Morning Meeting on May 9. Needle and Martin were recognized for their artwork, which was on display at the Seventh Congressional District’s art competition, “An Artistic Discovery” on April 28 at Merck in Summit. Martin’s piece is an oil pastel of runners’ legs and one has a prosthetic leg. Needle’s was recognized for her Screaming Man acrylic paint on cardboard.
