UNION — In celebration of the upcoming Olympic Summer Games of 2012, the Union Public Library is presenting a series of films honoring the event with three selections beginning Tuesday, May 15, and continuing through June 5. Admission to the programs is free.
The following titles comprise the series:
- Chariots of Fire (1981) starring Ben Cross – May 15 at 2 p.m.
- Charlie Chan at the Olympics (1937) starring Warner Oland – May 29 at 2 p.m.
- Olympia Part 1: Festival of the Nations (1938), a documentary about the 1936 Summer Olympics directed by Leni Riefenstahl – June 5 at 2 p.m.
