SOUTH PLAINFIELD — The Jefferson family of South Plainfield, which suffered a devastating house fire that claimed five lives, recently received a $2,000 donation from the North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NCJAR) REALTOR® Community Care Fund (RCCF). The donation was presented by NCJAR members from ERA Reed Realty at an event hosted by Joe’s Crab Shack in South Plainfield. The restaurant contributed a portion of its proceeds from the day of the event to the family. NCJAR established the RCCF in 2006 to aid northern New Jersey residents facing housing emergencies caused by fires or floods.
