GOP Senate Candidate To Help Rahway Republicans Kick Off Campaign

RAHWAY – State Sen. Joe Kyrillos will be the featured guest at a campaign luncheon hosted by the Rahway Republican Committee on Sunday, May 20, at the Firehouse Pub in Rahway.

Kyrillos, who will challenge U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez in November, is helping Rahway’s Republican City Council candidates kick off their campaigns.

“State Sen. Kyrillos has always stood up for the hardworking taxpayers of New Jersey. Before Governor Christie brought historic changes to our state, it was Republicans like Joe Kyrillos who fought the out of control spending in Democratically-controlled Trenton, said Rahway Republican Committee Chairman Patrick Cassio. “The City of Rahway is suffering from similar problems with the longtime local Democrats who run this city. Last year the average Rahway homeowner received the largest tax increase in Union County, an astounding 21 percent. That is totally unacceptable to Rahway Republicans and we will not stand for any more of it.”

Tickets are $60 and include a full lunch, coffee, dessert and a cash bar. RSVP by May 17 to Patrick Cassio at 1-732-388-7671. The Firehouse Pub is located at 455 St. Georges Avenue in Rahway.
