PERTH AMBOY – Cathedral International church is making certain that mothers in the community are acknowledged and pampered for Mother’s Day. Women have been identified, local businesses are providing some of the pampering services and the Cathedral church family has given of their time and resources to make Mother’s Day an unforgettable experience.

Cathedral partnered with Robert Fiance Beauty School, Perth Amboy to offer mothers discounted manicures and pedicures. Cathedral staff and ministries will provide mothers with wigs, gift bags, a Saturday morning continental breakfast and other resources that will make them feel appreciated.

Mothers will receive these services and gift items starting Thursday and culminating on Sunday at Cathedral’s worship service.

Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr., Senior Pastor at Cathedral came up with the idea to honor mothers in this manner. Bishop Hilliard said, “We love our mothers every day but here is an opportunity – Mother’s Day – to make that love special and unforgettable.” It is a tradition at Cathedral to give a special gift to every mother attending services on Mother’s Day. Mothers receiving the special pampering are from local shelters and the congregation.
