Clark Police Blotter: Officers Investigate Motor Vehicle Burglaries

April 30 at 10:22 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway Circle, Officer Kenneth Gaulette arrested Elizabeth resident Christoph Garcia, 24, on an outstanding warrant from Sayreville for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Sayreville Police Department.

May 1 at 11:50 a.m. – Officer Joseph Teston investigated a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on the 1100 block of Madison Hill Road.

May 1 at 12:38 p.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that was parked at a residence on the 1200 block of Cellar Avenue.

May 1 at 3:28: p.m. – At the Rahway Police Department, Officer Dan Pitts arrested Avenel resident Cindy Desmangles, 29, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. She was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

May 1 at 5:40 p.m. – Officer Daniel Joy investigated a report of burglary to two motor vehicles that were parked at a residence on the 200 block of Willow Way.

May 3 at 9:07 a.m. – In the vicinity of Lake Avenue, Officer Dan Pitts arrested Basking Ridge resident Alina Patterson, 19, on outstanding warrants from Basking Ridge and Paterson for contempt of court. She was subsequently turned over to the Basking Ridge Police Department.

May 4 at 11:39 a.m. – At the Roselle Park Police Department, Officer Thomas Sarnecki arrested Roselle resident Mark Ortiz, 30, on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

May 5 at 2:17 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Cutler Place, Officer Brian Renda arrested Linden resident Matthew Poirier, 25, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.
