CLARK –Two second grade classes at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark completed their first biography using pizza boxes for their reports. Students in Ann Marie Estevez and Ellen Tamburino’s classes participated in the project. Each child was assigned a famous person to research.

They decorated the cover and inside of the box top with catchy titles and pictures about their person. The bottom of the box included 8 slices of “pizza” with facts about the person’s life. The facts were assembled in their box in date order and decorated with “toppings”. The second graders presented their reports to their classmates as well as visiting first grade classes, who enjoyed seeing the completed projects and learning about so many famous people.
