CLARK – Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School’s annual Arbor Day Program was held last week. The program consisted of the entire student body participating on the front lawn. The student council representatives opened the ceremony by leading the school with the flag salute then singing “America the Beautiful”. Each class had one student assist Hehnly Music teacher James Vavra with the planting of the new landscaping. The program closed with the students and teachers singing “This Land is Our Land”.
