EDISON — Kimberly Son of Woodbridge, a junior at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School in Edison, has been chosen from a very talented pool of applicants to participate in this summer’s Governor’s School of Engineering and Technology at the Rutgers University School of Engineering.

Son will spend four weeks in July, free of charge, immersed in engineering and technology with others who share these interests. This experience has been made possible through a sponsorship from Rutgers University, corporate donors, Governor’s School alumni and a number of other donors.

This summer, scholars will be taking five academic classes, completing an intensive research and design project in a group of 3-5 students, going on site visits to local corporations and meeting equally talented peers and professions from across the state.
