CLARK — On Saturday, April 28, the Clark Police Department will join 380 Law Enforcement agencies across New Jersey in support of Operation Take Back New Jersey, a joint program in cooperation with the federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the New Jersey State Attorney General.

Citizens are encouraged to bring unused or outdated prescription or over-the-counter drugs to Police Headquarters at 315 Westfield Avenue, Clark, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Officers of the Clark Police Department will be on duty at Headquarters to accept all submissions in a secure container, which will be forwarded to the DEA for safe disposal. All submissions, regardless of source, will be accepted anonymously.

“I encourage every Clark resident to inventory the prescription and over-the-counter drugs in their home and to utilize this valuable service,” said Clark Police Captain Alan J. Scherb, Officer-In-Charge.
