Perth Amboy Seeks Participants For 2012 Memorial Day Parade

PERTH AMBOY— Mayor Wilda Diaz invites the residents of Perth Amboy to honor and remember military personnel who gave their lives while serving our country during this year’s Memorial Day parade and ceremony to be held on Monday, May 28.

“We would like to welcome and look forward to the participation of local churches and other Perth Amboy organizations to join our efforts in recognizing the men and women who have served the United States,” said Diaz.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 28, at the Public Safety Complex Parking Lot, 365 New Brunswick Avenue, and will proceed to Sadowski Parkway. It will be followed by a ceremony at the Veterans’ War Memorial on Sadowski Parkway at 11 a.m.
