CARTERET — Carteret Middle School is sponsoring “Carteret Conquers Cancer – Making Steps Closer To Finding A Cure!” in memory of Jessica Kushner, an active member of the community who passed away from cancer a few months ago.
Students Amber Melo and Amanda Joyce are dedicated to raising $10,000 in the inaugural 5K Cancer Walk through the streets of Carteret on Saturday, June 2. All proceeds from the walk will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
