UNION — Atlantic Star Trucking, Inc. signed a long-term lease for a 60,000 square-foot industrial site on Burnet Avenue, according to New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.
Atlantic Star Trucking, Inc., a company specializing in importing and exporting, signed a long-term lease deal and will use the 1835 Burnet Avenue property for warehouse and distribution purposes.
NAI Hanson Vice President Barry Cohorsky represented the owner, Miller Industrial Properties, in the transaction. The tenant was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle’s Iselin office.
“This well-located site is an ideal fit for the tenant, which is relocating from Newark,” Cohorsky said. “It is a sizeable piece of property with a convenient location near major roadways in the Route 78/22 East Industrial submarket.”
Built in 1950, the single-tenant building has an 18-foot ceiling height, eight loading docks, one drive-in and 30 free surface parking spaces. Conveniently located near the New Jersey Turnpike, Garden State Parkway and Route 78 East, the property is approximately 15 minutes away from Ports Newark and Elizabeth and Newark Liberty Airport.
