RAHWAY — Students at Franklin School in Rahway recently participated in the Pennies for Patients program. Students collected and donated spare change to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Franklin school raised $1,521.37, which will go to the research and patient aid to help cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Mrs. Kropoth’s Kindergarten class (shown above) collected the most money, $254, and will be rewarded with a pizza party. (Photo courtesy of Franklin School)
