BASKING RIDGE – New Jersey State Senator Thomas H. Kean, Jr. will hold an open discussion with members of the Somerset County business community on Friday, May 11,. The breakfast session will take place at the offices of Affinity Federal Credit Union, 73 Mountain View Boulevard, Basking Ridge.
The discussion will begin with a networking breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by Kean’s comments and an open question and answer period. The session will conclude at 9:30 a.m.
The senator is expected to discuss his vision for the future of New Jersey, his perspective on the FY2013 state budget, the upcoming race for United State Senate between State Senator Kyrillos and U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, an update on offshore wind energy, and state efforts to foster business growth.
Kean represents citizens in the municipalities of Berkeley Heights, Bernards, Chatham Borough and Township, Cranford, Far Hills, Garwood, Kenilworth, Long Hill, Mountainside, New Providence, Roselle Park, Springfield, Summit, Warren, Watchung, and Westfield.
