WATCHUNG – Mount Saint Mary Academy in Watchung will present “The Wizard of Oz” as its spring musical. Performances will take place on April 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m., and April 22 at 3 p.m.
The classic musical chronicles the journey of Dorothy, a Kansas farm girl, and her three unlikely friends to Oz where they hope to receive invaluable gifts from the city’s wizard. Their story is one of friendship, hope, and self-discovery. The Academy’s production includes an impressive set and exuberant cast.
Tickets for “The Wizard of Oz” go on sale to the general public on April 16. The cost is $15 for adults and $12 for students and senior citizens. They may be reserved in advance or purchased at the door prior to each show time. For advance ticket sales, call 1-908-757-0108 ext. 4504.
