STATE – The estimated jackpot in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing is worth up to $113 million, or $68.4 million if the winner chooses the cash option instead of an annuity paid out over 29 years.
No one matched all five numbers and the red Powerball in Wednesday’s drawing. The winning numbers for April 11 were 16 23 42 44 and 47, and the Powerball number was 02.
New Jersey residents Joseph and Celeste Tamburello were the last jackpot winners, claiming a $70 million prize with a winning ticket from the March 21 drawing purchased in Little Silver.
The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510, and the odds of claiming any prize are 1 in 31.85.
Powerball drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
