Academy Announces 3rd Q Honor Roll

ELIZABETH—Benedictine Academy, an all-female Catholic college prep high school in Elizabeth, has released its third quarter honor roll. Forty-seven students at the Academy were named based on outstanding academic performance. They will be honored at a celebratory breakfast later this month.

Named to first honors at the Academy were:

Grade 12- Dinh Do of Union and Dannah Laguitan of Woodbridge;

Grade 11- Kai Alexander of Irvington; Nicole Carvalho of Newark; Martha Devia of Elizabeth; and Deja Rudolph of Linden;

Grade 10- Ewa Kowalczyk of Elizabeth and Joyce Mendoza of Union; and

Grade 9- Toni Davis-Wilson and Laura Gomes, both of Newark; Mary Angeline Palma of Union; Karol Ann Pierre of Vauxhall; Kayla Roque and Marina Santiago, both of Newark; and Stephanie Simoes of Union.

First honors students must maintain a 93 average and above in all subjects.

Achieving second honors recognition at Benedictine Academy were:

Grade 12- Caroline Antonio of Newark; Jennifer Cobo of Hillside; DeAzah Davis of Rahway; Elorie Jean of Irvington; Simarjit Kaur of Hillside; Andrea Mendoza of Union; Vanessa Rodriguez of Roselle; and Crismeldy Segura of Newark;

Grade 11- Michelle Colonia of Elizabeth; Heidy Isabel of Bloomfield; and Beatrice Thompson-Quartey of Newark;

Grade 10- Kimberly Dias of Elizabeth; Vanessa Fragiacomo of Kearny; Harpreet Kaur and Hazel Pena, both of Elizabeth; Alyssa Silva of Newark; and Eunice Waklatsi of Elizabeth;

Grade 9- Adrienne Bagtas and Tyanne Bryce, both of Roselle; Jennifer Carrion of Newark; My-Asia Chaplin of Elizabeth; Eileen Conaty of Clark; Karina Costa of Hillside; Tonai Crockett of Irvington; Celine DaSilva of Hillside; Jongmi Kagabo of Newark; Caridad Lambert and Bernite Mercival, both of Elizabeth; Karen Montes of Newark; Grace Otoigiakhi of Hillside; Angelica Poselek of Linden; and Shanyah Saunders of East Orange.

Second honors students at Benedictine Academy must maintain an 83 average and above in all subjects.
