Union County Vo-Tech Teachers Of The Year Honored

UNION COUNTY – The Union County Vocational-Technical School District honored its five teachers of the year at a Board of Education meeting last Monday. Freeholder Board Chairman Alexander Mirabella Joined Board of Education President Charles Mancuso in recognizing one exemplary teacher from each of the district’s five high schools.

“The success of Union County’s Vo-Tech schools is something that the Freeholder Board is extremely proud of,” said Mirabella. “Ultimately, it is the work of teachers like these that has driven their success and the success of their students.”

The honorees featured, from left, in the photo above are: Kathleen Felezzola- Teacher of Allied Health, UC Tech High School, Courtney Carmichael- Teacher of Social Studies, Academy for Allied Health Science, Kathleen Gavin- Teacher of Dance, Academy for Performing Arts, and Nina Lord- Teacher of Biology, Magnet High School for Science, Mathematics, and Technology.
