RAHWAY — In an effort to promote an increased attention and motivation to the memorization of multiplication facts, Franklin School in Rahway conducted a Multiplication Bee on March 29. Third, fourth, and fifth grade participants competed on stage in front of an audience of their peers.

The winners in fifth grade are as follows: 1st place-Elijah Peele, 2nd place- Adam Greebel, and 3rd place Keren Lebron. The winners in fourth grade are as follows: 1st place- Story Young, 2nd place- Aniya Butler, and 3rd place- Saud Shah. Last but not least, the winners in third grade are as follows: 1st place- Jericho Mascarinas, 2nd place- Jelisa Algarin, and 3rd place- Lucas Cano.

All Franklin School winners will have a chance to compete at the district level against students from all elementary schools in Rahway on the evening of May 21 at the Middle School.
