DUNELLEN — The Dunellen Knights Of Columbus will once again host a pro wrestling benefit fundraiser with popular tri-state pro wrestling promotion National Pro Wrestling Superstars, and their “sister” all-ladies promotion Women Superstars Uncensored, on Saturday night April 14 at 7:35pm at the Dunellen Knights Of Columbus Hall (647 Grove Street, just off Washington Avenue & Route 28, minutes from Routes 22 and 287).

Years ago, the WWE used to have a one-night tournament to crown “The King Of The Ring”… well, for years now, NPWS and WSU have teamed up to do one better, and that night in Dunellen they will present the annual 2012 King And Queen Of The Ring Tournament, where, for one night, some of the best male and female wrestlers on the circuit today will pair up into “inter-gender” tag-teams and compete in a single-elimination tournament where both member of the winning team wear the prestigious crowns.

Past winners of this tournament have included such famous TV stars as TNA/Impact star Jay Lethal & WWE diva A.J., Ring Of Honor star Rhett Titus & former TNA/Impact star Nikki Roxx, and former ECW & WCW star Julio Dinero who has won the crown twice, once with former WWE diva Cherry (a.k.a. Kara Slice), and last year with former WSU World Champion Mercedes Martinez

This year’s field is already scheduled to include NPWS Junior Heavyweight Champion “The Love Machine” Nicky Oceans & WSU newcomer Ezavel Suena, and former NPWS Tag-Team Champion “Jersey Shore Jock” Mike Dennis & Jamilia Craft.

This week, NPWS announced three more pairings: Richard Michaels & “Soul Sisters” member Jana, Team Thunder Horse member Jack Spade & former WSU Tag-Team Champion Tina San Antonio, and Jeff “Cannonball” Guerrero & Nikki Syx.

But as big as the tournament is, there will also be two WSU title matches. The newly-crowned WSU Tag-Team Champions Allisyn Kay & Sassy Stephanie will defend their titles against the popular veteran duo of Alicia & Brittney Savage, and newly-crowned WSU World Champion & Spirit Champion Jessica Havok will defend her Spirit Title belt against Marti Belle.

And even more icing on the cake, as former WWE star Gene “It’s Not My Fault” Snitsky will also see action in the ring.
