Mega Millions Jackpot Reaches Record Level

STATE – Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot will be worth up to an estimated $476 million, a new record for the multi-state lottery game. The highest previous jackpot in the game’s history was $390 million, split by two winners in New Jersey and Georgia in 2007.

No one matched all six winning numbers in Tuesday’s drawing, but 47 players came close. By matching five of the six numbers, their winning tickets are worth at least $250,000.

The winning numbers for the March 27 drawing were 09, 19, 34, 44 and 51. The Gold Mega Ball number was 24 and the MegaPlier Multiplier was 3.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since Jan. 27. A ticket sold in Georgia won a $72 million jackpot on Jan. 24.

Live lottery drawings are shown on the New Jersey Lottery’s website,

Mega Millions tickets are sold in 42 participating jurisdictions. Drawings are held on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m.
