Union County Freeholders Honored Women Of Excellence

GARWOOD – The Union County Commission on the Status of Women held its 20th annual Women of Excellence Awards on Friday. The commission is sponsored by The Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders. Its mission is to call attention to the contributions of women who live or work in Union County.

Each year, awards are given in different fields including education, health care, the arts, government, business, law, community service, technology, humanitarianism, public service, women’s advocacy, and lifetime achievement.
