CRANFORD – Union County College has a newly updated MAC lab in which QuarkXPress 9 will be offered beginning on April 10. QuarkXPress is the professional software used in the graphic arts industry for printing. Anyone interested in working as a graphic artist needs to know this industry standard software.
Students will learn the essential techniques for designing with the software, including how to import text and graphic files, and how to manipulate them in the program. This course is part of the graphic arts certificate offered through the Office of Continuing Education.
The course will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 10, 2012 to May 10, 2012 on the College’s Cranford campus which is located at 1033 Springfield Avenue.
