Lakewood Chamber Members Take Students Into The Real World

LAKEWOOD — Students get firsthand experience with Lakewood area business members on April 3 starting at 8 a.m. and going throughout the morning. Students will be introduced into the professional world, make connections and enjoy lunch at the Lakewood BlueClaws stadium.

The Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and the Pupil Assisted Learning Services (PALS) program of Lakewood High School are teaming up to help students prepare for their futures. At 8 a.m. students will meet their professional mentor at the Lakewood BlueClaws stadium. Then the student will shadow his or her professional for the rest of the day. At 11:30 a.m. students and mentors will return to the stadium to enjoy lunch and network with others.
