Middle School Students Explore African Traditions

RAHWAY — Rahway Middle School students recently explored African traditions. Among them was the importance of oral language. Mrs. Garay’s eighth grade reading strategies classes analyzed the African Praise poem “Izibongo”. The inspired students then created their own African praise poems.
