Sixth Graders Show Their Smarts

EDISON — Sixth graders at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School volunteer to answer a question during the Knowledge Master Open academic competition. The team of 12 students answered 84 of 100 questions on history, mathematics, geography and science in fewer than seven seconds. The team was captained by Brittney Wilson of North Plainfield with J. Griffin Gonzalez of Rahway on the keyboard. Other team members were Risi Yasa of Edison, Simu Singh of Piscataway, Rohan Arvindh of Woodbridge, Mia Reyes of Perth Amboy, Miles Green of North Plainfield, Shreyas Heragu of Edison, Lauren Kisare of Bridgewater, Jason Yin of Scotch Plains, Suraj Chandran of Edison and Eddie Martinez of Scotch Plains.
