EDISON — Temple Emanu-El, located at 100 James Street in Edison, has announced the following events for March. All events take place at Temple Emanu-El unless otherwise noted; for more information, call 1-732-549-4442
March 11: PURIM CARNIVAL-Have fun, play games, win prizes! Visit the Café for lunch. And come in costume. 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring canned foods to donate to the temple’s food pantry.
March 16: TOT SHABBAT at 6 p.m. is a program aimed toward younger children up to six years old. It includes an age appropriate Shabbat Service and a Jewish-themed craft project. The regular adult service will commence at 8 p.m.
March 17: International Dinner Come to Temple Emanu-El for an elegant “small plate” dinner to sample familiar and exotic foods from around the world. Recipes will be available so you can recreate your favorites. Fun for all ages, raffle prizes and more. Open to everyone. 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Pay at the door: $18 for adults, $10 for children.
March 25:RUMMAGE SALE! Temple Emanu-El’s famous rummage sale where you can search for treasures and treats, old stuff and new. Great bargains, super prices. Opens at 9 a.m.
