WOODBRIDGE — A new workshop on how to make your office more environmentally friendly is being offered by Middlesex County College. “The Green Office: The Role of the Office Manager in Recycling Efforts” will be held at the Greenable Woodbridge Museum, located at the Woodbridge Center Mall, upper level, near JC Penney.
Participants may select from three dates: Thursday, March 22, Wednesday, March 28 and Wednesday April 11. The program will be from 1-5 p.m. and the cost is $40.
“Greening an office benefits both the company and society at large,” said Patricia Moran, director of the College’s Institute for Management and Technical Development. “This four-hour workshop gives you up-to-date, relevant information and the practical applications as you develop your company’s recycling program. You will learn bout the law as it applies to recycling, how it enhances your company’s image, and about recycling incentives as well as penalties for non-compliance.”
