CLARK – “Green Eggs and Ham,” “Horton Hears a Who,” and “The Cat in the Hat” were just some of the favorite selections read by the National Junior Honor Society of the Clark Schools during this year’s celebration of Read Across America.

On Friday, March 2, the National Junior Honor Society from Carl H. Kumpf Middle School visited both Valley Road and Hehnly Elementary Schools to share their love of reading with the younger students in the district. The experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all of the students involved. In addition to promoting the importance of reading, this day commemorates the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
