Wardlaw-Hartridge Students Create Models of Solar System

EDISON — Chris Zdenek of Wesfield and Arian Vavila of Bridgewater (above) and Max Needle and Claude Djan, both of Scotch Plains, (below) were among the eighth grade students in Noreen Jafri’s Earth Science class at The Wardlaw-Hartridge School who created models of the solar system. The students used formulas in Excel either to determine planet distances from the sun or planet diameters for their scale model. (Photos courtesy of Wardlaw-Hartridge School)
