CLARK — Last week, Clark Public Schools Elementary School Supervisor Janeen Allmendinger shared her experiences as a competitive figure skater with the third grade Breakfast Bunch Club at Frank K. Hehnly School. The Breakfast Bunch Club is a monthly enrichment club, which meets before school on a rotating basis among Grades 3-5. This month, the third grade students learned about the dedication and perseverance required competing at a professional level. Allmendinger shared her uniforms, skates, and past performances with the club. Allmendinger competed for roughly 12 years before attending college. During this time she even competed with former Olympian Sarah Hughes.
