Black History Month Program Celebrates Frederick Douglas’ “Starry Road To Freedom”

RAHWAY — In celebration of Black History Month, Roosevelt School in Rahway presented a school assembly program titled “Frederick Douglas: The Starry Road to Freedom”. The one-man show was based on the life and writings of Frederick Douglas. Following the performance students asked questions about Douglas’s life. Pictured are first graders Gianna and Kayla.
