CLARK – The K-Kids at Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School joined the Teens for Jeans campaign sponsored by dosomething.org and Aeropostale in collecting gently worn jeans to make a difference in people’s lives. About 40% of homeless Americans are under the age of 18 (1 in 3 in the U.S.). In four years, 1.5 million jeans have been collected for this worthwhile cause. Through the support of Hehnly families, 320 pairs of jeans were collected and donated to aid the homeless. Pictured are the 5th grade K-Kids members. (Photo courtesy of Hehnly School)
