CRANFORD— Lorraine M. Harwelik will present a program, “Insomnia: Food and Herbs for a Better Night’s Sleep” on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue.
Harwelik is a certified clinical herbalist and founder of Natural Therapeutics for Health, L.L.C., located in Cranford. There are almost as many causes of insomnia as there are people who experience it. No single method will help everyone get a good night’s sleep, but there are certain foods and herbs that can help many people fall asleep and stay asleep. Harwelik will talk about how to incorporate certain foods and simple herbal combinations into one’s daily routine in order to obtain a better night’s rest.
Admission to the program is free and all are welcome. The program is sponsored by the Cranford Public Library.
