Clark Students Enjoy Buddy Reading Program

CLARK — Students in Jennifer Kelleher’s second grade class at Valley Road School in Clark enjoy reading partnerships during Reader’s Workshop. As part of Reader’s Workshop time, students are able to choose to “Buddy Read” with each other. During Buddy Reading, students are able to help each other with tough words, work together, and talk about books like a real book club would. The second graders have the choice to pick out books they want and then ask each other questions about the story.
