CLARK — Fourth grade students in Tara Filippini’s class at the Valley Road School in Clark have been studying geometry in mathematics class. In the photograph above, fourth graders Sophia Avila and Jordyn Marie Walsh are shown working as a team to find the net of a three-dimensional object of their choice. They display their problem solving with masking tape “imprints” on our classroom floor. The students then had the chance to guess the nets of their classmates.
