CLARK — Fourth grade students in Mrs. Philippakos and Ms. Meredith’s science class at the Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark have been learning about magnetism. The students had the opportunity to build their own electromagnet using their knowledge of electricity and magnetism. They used a battery, a long wire and a screw. In the picture above, Mary Nadolsky and Matthew Simas are showing how their electromagnet can pick up paper clips. (Photo courtesy of Clark Public School)
