TRENTON – Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is worth up to $250 million. No one has won the game’s top prize since a Pennsylvania couple claimed the jackpot worth $128.8 million in the Christmas Eve drawing last year.
Three lucky New Jersey Lottery players each won $10,000. Another third prize winners had purchased the Power Play option and increased that win into $40,000.
The $40,000 winning ticket was purchased at Krauszer’s Food Store in Princeton. Another third-prize winning ticket, this one worth $10,000, was bought at HMS Host Marriott in Yardville. One of the other two $10,000 winning tickets was sold at Sunoco A Plus in Secaucus; and one was purchased at Quick Chek #64 in Hackettstown.
According to New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger, in addition to the third prize winners, 66,415 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $354,070 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.
The winning numbers for the Saturday , Feb. 4 drawing were: 15, 23, 43, 45, and 56 and the Red Power Ball number was 07.
Tonight’s 11 p.m. Powerball drawing will be shown live on the New Jersey Lottery’s website, NJLottery.net.
The multi-state Powerball game is played in 44 states and jurisdictions.
